How it all started

The Sunflower Challenge began in 2023, before MOGG Property had even opened its doors.

When Joey Mogg entered real estate, she wanted to do things differently.

No cold calling. No knocking on doors asking for business.

Instead, she wanted to find a way to genuinely connect with the community.

The idea was simple. Give away sunflower seeds and get the community growing together.

What started as a small idea has grown every year.

Thousands of seeds have been planted, neighbours have compared sunflowers over fences, families have grown them together and the challenge has become something our community genuinely looks forward to.

It’s about more than growing the biggest sunflower.

It’s about community, connection and having a little fun along the way.
